On Monday the 26th of September from 09:30 am until noon, around fifty participants took part in a conference organized by Euromed Capital, De Gaulle Fleurance & Associates and Bpifrance with the theme, “supporting the growth of French businesses in the Maghreb.”
The first roundtable on growth perspectives for renewable energy firms in the Maghreb listed the opportunities available for French companies active in innovation and power generation. The 6 participants, Nidhal Ouerfelli, (Atomic & Alternative Energies Commission in Tunisia), Marie-Albane Prieur (Bpifrance), Jay Boardman (HéliosLite), Olivier Astruc (Quadran), Sofia Boumahdi (Voltalia) & Laurence Vanderstraete (De Gaulle Fleurance & associates) had the occasion to share their experience and exchange on the methods for the implementation of French businesses in the Maghreb.
The second roundtable on investment capital in the Maghreb discussed the role of investment capital companies in supporting French businesses in the Maghreb and the opportunities this represents when opening their capital for development. Stéphane Colin (AfricInvest), William Nkontchou (Emerging Capital Partners), Daniel Viñas (Mediterrania Capital Partners) André Wagner (SPE Capital), Seif Khoufi (Wendel) & Anne-Hélène Le Trocquer (De Gaulle Fleurance & Associates) were able to explain the pros and cons of investment capital in the Maghreb.
Following these roundtables, participants were able to exchange on the topics during a networking session.
